A precast concrete facility needed a way to automate high-energy utilities—specifically one large air compressor and three existing lighting panels. They wanted to reduce waste by ensuring equipment turned off automatically, but they also needed schedules to be easily adjustable by management without calling a programmer every time.
Instead of using expensive, rigid hardware, we engineered a custom solution using an Industrial Arduino-based PLC.
We programmed automated shutdown sequences for the compressor and lighting panels and built a custom web-based dashboard using C++ and HTML. This allows the client to log in from any browser and adjust on/off schedules themselves.
The client now has a reliable, automated system that saves energy costs, with a user-friendly interface that doesn’t require technical skills to operate.
